I love the realness of the poetry of the psalms. King David was not afraid to share his emotions, traumas, failures, joy and triumphs.
The waves and the breakers speak of the battering he felt in troubling times and the deep call of his spiritual man to be met by the deep love of his creator while the world roared around him.

 When deep calls too deep there is a fathomless connection that brings wisdom, identity, courage, authority and love.
